The Relationship Manager is responsible for management of a commercial lending portfolio consisting of MyState Bank and TPT Wealth customers.

This role is responsible for:
Increase lending (and in turn grow lending balances) by developing and maintaining productive relationships with new and existing lending clients and building referrals through third party referral networks.
Identify opportunities for meeting the ancillary banking needs of your customer and where appropriate refer the customer to the relevant part of the MyState business to investigate further.
Ensure recommendations on all loan applications / reviews are well reasoned, in line with MyState Group’s lending policy and made in a timely manner.
Ensure that, from a customer’s viewpoint, the end to end loan application experience (submission to funding) occurs in an efficient and timely manner. Individual actions forming this process include letter of offer issuance, valuation ordering, document preparation and loan settlement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
a determination to achieve / succeed
effective operator whether autonomously or in a team environment
adaptive to changing work demands
a minimum of 5 years financial services industry experience in a client facing role, with particular exposure to the following:
Relationship / Account management (commercial / rural borrowers)
Business Development
Credit (e.g. commercial credit submissions, loan document preparation)
Conveyancing (incorporating security preparation and lodgement - DPIWE, LTO, PPSR)
relevant industry or tertiary qualifications will also be highly regarded.

Like all of our team, you would be a confident communicator who has a high attention to detail and strong time management skills. You will have experience working in a structured, high-volume environment, and enjoy a flexible and varied role. You will also be offered ongoing support through on the job training.
