THE OPPORTUNITY

Huon are looking to recruit two Human Resource Advisors. As a member of the HR team, this role will provide advice and support to our internal customers with a focus on our southern marine operations and hatchery sites. This is a diverse and challenging position that will require the successful applicant to provide advice and support on a range of HR matters including: workplace investigations, performance management, policy development, recruitment, remuneration & benefits, and HR trends & data analysis. This position will provide critical advice within the HR team, and also facilitate the delivery of projects as part of the People and Culture strategy. This is a full-time permanent position based at our Hobart office, with regular visits to our southern hatchery and marine operations sites also required.

ABOUT YOU

You will hold 2-3 years solid HR experience in an advisory capacity as well as have a sound knowledge of IR legislation and related compliance. You thrive in delivering the best possible service to your internal clients utilising a supportive, understanding and collaborative approach to all matters and situations. You enjoy working in a diverse environment with a diverse range of people from the frontline to the executive team. You present confidently and articulately in all situations, possess excellent writing skills, sound computer skills as well as Degree qualified in HR/IR or related discipline. A driver’s licence is essential.

It is an inherent requirement of this position that work be performed safely whilst upholding Huon’s Values. The appointed person must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of work health and safety regulations is preferred.
