We have 3 positions available in July & August. This is a volunteer wwoofing/helpx type opportunity for the right person/s. We run a farm & animal park seven days a week. In exchange for food and accommodation, you would be responsible for greeting guests and groups onto the farm, taking care and feeding and watering all the animals on the farm including emu, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, giant trout, chickens, ducks, numerous exotic birds, peacocks, our gorgeous dexter cattle, sheep and more! Other jobs on the farm include weeding, general farm maintenance, gardening, and moving livestock in rotational grazing. The right person or couple would be self motivated, love animals, enthusiastic, hard working and have a good attitude. We also make time for beach walks with the dogs and on days off you can explore all the fantastic things Tasmania has to offer! We take an ongoing rotation of volunteers each month – so get in touch if you are interested in future opportunities. Join our other volunteers and enjoy meeting people from all around the world. Please get in touch if you are the right person for us. Check us out on Facebook or Instagram by searching “Guide Falls Farm”. To apply, please send us an email or Facebook message telling us a bit about yourself, why you would be a good fit, why you would like to volunteer on our farm, any previous experience in farm, animals or customer service and dates that you would be available. It’s a wonderful relaxed life style with lots of friendly animals, other lovely volunteers from around the world and lots to keep you busy. We look forward to hearing from you! Guide Falls Farm team

  • NOTE: This is NOT a paid position, it is a volunteer opportunity in exchange for food and accommodation. We have a 1 month minimum stay. Volunteer work does not count towards your second year visa in Australia. Please only apply if you can genuinely make it – we are a small family run business and time wasters are making our job even harder. Thank you :)
