About the role We are excited to share a unique opportunity for a Metering Delivery Lead, leading a team to provide effective, efficient and value-adding metering services to Aurora Energy customers across Tasmania. In this role, you will:

  • Provide leadership to the Metering Delivery team and champion focus on strategic delivery in a manner aligned to our values.
  • Provide technical advice to resolve metering issues in the field, as well as enhancing capability and knowledge within the metering team.
  • Manage relationships with Service Providers and ensure that a compliant and effective field practice is in place for meter and provide technical solutions for complex metering installations to ensure customers maintain supply.
  • Provide technical input into policy decisions to ensure the best outcome for Aurora Energy and its customers, as well as representing Aurora Energy with industry bodies and on working groups.
  • Lead the optimisation and enhancement of Metering service processes.
About you You will be a customer-centric leader who leads by example and advocates for achieving our desired culture. You will be electrically qualified (licence) with knowledge of AS3000 standards and how they relate to metering as well as an operational understanding of metering data systems, processes and their application. You will have demonstrated experience in delivering programs of work and managing field service providers; your commercial acumen and analytical skills with ensure you are well versed in balancing conflicting priorities.
